You've reached the homepage of Suhas Rao. I am currently pursuing an MD/PhD at Stanford University School of Medicine working with Roger Kornberg and Erez Lieberman Aiden.
I develop experimental and computational tools to probe how cells decode the information contained in DNA. My work is supported by a Fannie and John Hertz Foundation Fellowship and a Paul and Daisy Soros Fellowship.
I graduated from Harvard College in 2012 with a degree in Applied Mathematics. As an undergraduate, I worked in the Kuritzkes Lab from 2010-2011 studying co-receptor usage by HIV. I also co-directed a transitional housing program at the Harvard Square Homeless Shelter.
