You've reached the homepage of Suhas Rao. I am currently pursuing an MD/PhD at Stanford University School of Medicine.

Recently, I have been working with Erez Lieberman Aiden at The Center for Genome Architecture at Baylor College of Medicine and Rice University. At TC4GA, I work on understanding how the genome folds, the relationship between chromatin structure and gene regulation, and the disorganization of the genome in various diseases.

I graduated from Harvard College in 2012 with a degree in Applied Mathematics. As an undergraduate, I worked in the Kuritzkes Lab from 2010-2011 studying host factors determining co-receptor usage by HIV as well as co-receptor usage by drug-resistant HIV. I also co-directed a transitional housing program at the Harvard Square Homeless Shelter.
